Pathology (Board Review Series)
Without doubt the best Pathology review book. Everything in here is relevant for the USMLE and anything not in this book you probably don't want to know. Contains only a few pictures, therefore you will need some pathology atlas. (see below....)

NMS Review for USMLE Step 1 (with CD-ROM)
17 simulated USMLE Step 1 exams. Of all the question collections, this one comes the closest to the actual USMLE style. I recommend you practice these 17 tests under "real-time conditions"!

	Microbiology Made Ridiculously Simple Probably the funniest in the entire MedMaster series. Incredible cartoons, many mnemonics. This is the best microbiology review you can buy for USMLE preparation.
	Pharmacology Made Ridiculously Simple Covers the most important principles in clinical pharmacology, with many drug comparisons charts.

Biochemistry Made Ridiculously Simple
Includes a color map of Biochemistryland (an amusement park in which clinical biochemistry is seen as a whole).

Physiology Made Ridiculously Simple
The cardio-pulmonary-renal-acid-base balance in one sweet swoop. Easy introduction to the clinically most relevant parts of physiology.

	Linda Costanzo: Physiology This book is a life saver for physiology in med school. It is easy to read and short and sweet. Linda C. doesn't go into long unnecessary details, but gets right to the point. She has a shorter BRS book, which is also good, but sometimes you just need a better explanation, and this book offers that and more.
	Genetics (PreTest Series) I particularly recommend this book for the GENETICS portion. Molecular genetics has become such an important topic on the USMLE. You can't afford to ignore it. This collection of practice questions provides good training in a high-yield area.
	Behavioral Science (Board Review Series) I find all behavioral sciences books boring - maybe it's me, maybe it's the subject... ;-) The BRS is one of the better ones and gives you all you need to answer many of the questions on the USMLE.

Robins and Cotran: Atlas of Pathology
Complements the "Pathologic Basis of Diseases" series. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
