High strenght is indicated in severe DUB ie Menorrhagia: IV estrogen(premarin 25mg IV q4h for 3-4doses, followed by 10 days of progestin to allow for withdrawal bleeding); Alternative to IV premarin;
OCP given 3-4 times daily for 5-7days, but causes nausea.
