pituitary incidentaloma

I know that if we find incendentaloma of pituitary that is not functioning we just observe it .But in UW I met a question and unfortunetely I can't remember it corectly where was pituitary nonfunctionaning adenoma and they resected it. So incedentaloma and adenoma are different things.Please help me to clear this confusion
