UW ccs # 12

this is a DKA case. after ABCs we check finger stick glucose level which is 600. what is next step? should we order CBC, BMP.... or should we start insulin IV then order blood tests? can we treat pt using insulin IV base on finger stick glucose level or we have to do BMP first?
