IV insulin, Iv potassium
cbc bmp q2h, lft, ua
advance clock...when bmp shows serum glucose <250
then chg ivf to 1/2 NS, cont Potassium
start pt on subc insulin a half hour before d/c iv insulin
advance clock, cont monitoring bmp untill normal range
d/c home on oral insulin and nph
