well completing residency has both sides good and bad. You know the good side, but the bad is medicare in many programs does not finance second residency. But it is not impossible, I have afriend who completed FP then got into OBG after several rejections.
Yours scores are low, which does not mean you would not get a position, ask your former program director if he can make calls for you, you will definitely get a spot.
