Dear all,
I got my score report just now and I passed with a score of 196/80
I am thrilled
I gave it 4 weeks of off and on preparation and 2 weeks of intense prep.
Let me share few important things
1.I think it was much easier test to crack after having done a year of preliminary medicine.I loved the CCS cases ,cos that's all you do as an intern....ORDER ENTRY.
All my cases ended within 7 min and all of them went well.
Maybe that compromised for my OK performance in pediatrics
2.My test was full of peds, which I didn't do too well in,I wasn't prepared for it
3.Please do the ETHICS scenario on the Washington site e.g if a mother refuses to pursue vaccination or a lone seizure in her child, its OK and not neglect
4.I made notes of all the usmleworld questions I got wrong( TB,which was heavily tested)
5.I was not doing too hot on usmleworld,my cumulative score was 49%,I kind of started dropping my score towards the end which is weird.I was almost about to postpone the test, then took NBME scored 400 and was more confident.
6.I just did USMLE world CCS and MCQs and made notes
