For Derm you must know the treatment choices and try and see as many pictures as you can.I am an internal medicine resident so didn't do Medicine but you should know high yeild topics like DM,HTN,Hyperlipidemia, Endo,important topics from cardio .Especially know diagnostice tests and like of treatment 1 st , 2 nd etc and you should know when to make changes.
CCS : Even if you don't have any clinical experience in U.S i think you should rotate in Internal Medicine/Pediatrcis clinic at your country of origin.Obgyn cases should not be that tough .I though UW CCS was very useful.Go thru them again and also play with CCS software.Open any case on untimed mode and type all orders you think necessary while doing your UW cases.Also you already know that it takes time to get results during actual exam and you should keep a track of alloted time and keep on advancing clock without missing things and your aim should be to reach diagnosis at least by 15 th minute so you can order further tests deemed necessary.Don't panic even if you can't make out one or two cases.You will be evaluated based upon your approach towards the case too.Also when 5 min window flags make sure you have ordered all preventive stuff and cancelled all unnecessary meds.You might not get cases from UW but run thru your mind how you will approach the case and order things accordingly.Try to think of differential diagnosis( and order tests accordingly) instead of fixating on the most probabale diagnosis.
Most important is to have latest edition books !!!Keep on solving question . Next time you take exam try to keep calm as much as you can ( i know its easier said than done but atleast try ) and tell your self the next block will be better and i need to focus on them to make up for previous wrong answers.
