1.here one of the diff diag is osteomylitis.. why do we do x-ray of the extremity. don't u think mri/ct is a better option?
2.do we take blood culture or culture of wound discharge.. coz as it is.. vitals are normal.will we get anytthing on bld culture? don't u think wound d/c culture is better option?
3.neera wants to schedule pt for colonoscopy. how do we do it? do we ask for gastro consult?because i tried doing it for 65 yr old patient..in follow up visit.. the case moved on and on.. and the gastro guy said.. nothing he can do at this time.. my case got messed up there.anyone with an idea how to go about this?
