ccs problem??? please answer

HI guys!!!! in u world pleural effusion case secondary to sle, when we type orders for anti ds dna, complement c3,4, after getting ana positive, we get results in 3 to 5 days max.
what to do??
obviously cant make the patient waiting in the ward.....should we send home on oral steroids,prednisone without getting these results.....
