if we have a patient who comes to the office and we order lab work on him which would take say 5 hours for all the results to come back, how do we go about it?
i mean does the patient stay in the office until the lab work is back?
we can send the patient home and follow up in a few days when the lab results are back, but we would not have done any treatment for those days??? there are some patients who do require treatment in the first visit to the office......
