50yr lady is hsptlzd for management of severe alcohilic hepatitis.on 10th hsptl day she develops temp of
38.3 & gener abdominal disomfort.Abdnl exam reveals fluid wave & diffuse abd
tenderness.hepatosplenomegaly is present but unchanged from examntn. hematocrit-27%.wbc-
12,000.lft's unchanged from admission.total serum bilirubin -12.5.ast-150.alk.po4-180.
procedure most likely to yield dianostic info in this case wuld be?
