Well, you were not told what mode of anesthesia is being employed in this case. The basic thing is that the
pt needs to give consent, regardless of the mode of anesthesia, and since that option was not categorically
stated in the options, you can only work with what you are given.

So, out of all the options given above, the only rational one is B. Note that in the exam, the best measure
for the case in point may not be stated among the list of options.
