Hi there!

I am preparing for the Step2. I've found this forum very useful and I hope more expertise and clever answers will be pumped into it by fellow IMGs etc.

I started using CMDT for internal medicine review, but found it too long winded and not memory-friendly. Pls HELP me decide which book I should use??

I have:
1. NMS Medicine
2. CMDT of course
3. Blueprint
4. Kaplan/NMSR Step2 Clinical Science Review Program Books (looks good actually, but is it a complete review... I know I must go thru it though)
5. UCVs (Undergroung series)
6. Washington Manual (I know this is good for the wards, but some say it is good for review for Step2 too... IS IT???)
7. First Aid
8. Then I have Harrison's and it's PreTest, but these are too long for review.

I want to do Blueprint, Kaplan/NMSR Review, UCVs, First Aid of course and then as many MCQs as possible. But WILL THAT BE SUFFICIENT ENOUGH

Many sing songs about Cecil's Essentials of Internal Medicine. But I think it is about a thousand pages too; which is fine by me if it is THE BOOK I need to get. I
do not have it. Should I try to get it? Will I need it/ will it be useful?

Thanks for your time. May God bless us all.
