As regards your 2nd question-Kussmaul's breathing is not seen in either of the two conditions(seen in
DKA)but Kussmaul's sign,i.e-a rise in Jugular venous pressure during inspiration(opposite of what happens
under normal conditions)is seen in constrictive pericarditis only.
Hyperkalemia-doesn't cause QTprolongation.
