Embryology is a very low-yield subject. The one page I dedicated in "Medical Boards Step 1 Made Ridiculously Simple" to this topic is really enough.
Histology on the other hand is important and you need to be able to correlate cells with their function. For example they may point at a pink-
reddish appearing cell in the gastric mucosa and ask you what substances it secretes. The BRS book is good, but you also need an atlas (or borrow
one from your library).
