If you are an IMG with a solid background. That is a bachelors(biology or chemistry) in science plus your medical degree then your chances of landing a teaching position at a college to teach allied health (respiratory therapy, dialysis or surgical technology) is great, because these areas require a solid medical background pathology, pharmacology and physiology in particular. Tell the institution you are willing to teach at that you would like to challenge their final or their exit exams, passing these gives you good credibility and respect and the more likely of been hired. This can allow you to work and study for your USMLE. Remember teaching and research in the US go hand by hand and allows you to network in the academic field. Don't forget you need to clear all USMLE steps and get the needed US clinical experience. This will look good in your curriculum vitae and your personal statement. Good luck.
