Fresh back from exam room
1. Many straight forward short questions. The longer the stem of the question, the easier the question will be. I did find some tough questions which were no more then 3-4 sentences (drive me nuts after I eliminated 3 and had to play odds between the remaining two choices )
2. Time is a problem, especially when you want to make sure your every selection is right. If you just want to make sure you digest the stem of question right and pick the best you can pick, then plenty of time left. I take break after 2nd, 4th, 5th and 6th block. The worse blocks for me was the 4th, I just finished lunch and totally did the exam like a idiot. The 2nd worse is the 1st and 2nd block, the rest seems OK to me.
3. Not that much high yields were tested, I was asked three times the same enzyme dediciency, made me wondering if I did them wrong so the computer keep checking me on that.
4. I have only less than 10 figures, many of them were very easy to figure out the answer. (I spent 2 hours to cover all the Robbin 6th figures last night)
5. Advice: The last 2 weeks is the crucial time, a lot of integrations were ongoing during that time frame.
6. I need to thanks Joe, Nikki and Nadia to inspire me going through all those sleepless day and night dedicated to Step 1 preparation.
