I don't quite understand you. You
signed a paper, presumably the
official offer for residency. That's
it, the remainder of the paperwork
will be done later, but that was your
contract. And no, the program will
not take it back, at least it is
highly unusual for that to happen. It
can only happen if something comes up
during the background check, for
instance staying I'm the US on an
expired visa or faking medical school
records. I don't understand your
reasoning, why exactly do you want to
go back on perfectly good offer? It
is up to you but I would be very
careful about what you're doing. For
every residency spot there are 100
candidates. You may have great scores
but mostly you got lucky. Thank you
lucky stars and don't do something
you may regret for the rest of your
life.
