There are more than 1400 Programs, in IM, FM, OB, Psy,
& Peds alone,

If your ratio is right, then you can apply to at least
280 Programs, that is going to cost you a lot.....

upto 10 Pro 75
10 more 80
10 more 150

30 = 305

280-30 = 150

150 x25 = 3750

Total 3750 + 305 =$4055

Are you willing to pay this much?

It's crazy, ERAS is looting IMGs, no doubt about it

Many IMGs are known to apply to as many as 200 to 300
Programs, bad if they have high scores and eligible to
apply to most Programs.

It is unethical for US gov to allow ERAS/ ECFMF to rob
doctors from poorer countries, and guess what even
applying to those many Programs, there is no guarentee,
actually many of the Programs don't even look at their
application.

The system is flawed, intentionally made this way to
make illegal money.

How dare USA sell ECFMG certificate

cost step 1=750 + 140
step 2 ck= 750 +140
step 2 cs= 1295

Total = $ > 3000

plus years of hard of required for preparing for the
test.

US must be responsible for providing Residency for
those who are qualified esp beacuse here there is a big
need of doctors at least now.

Or they should reduce the number of quotas for USMLE
tests or increase the pass mark for mle.

Of the 30,543 applicants, only 21,749 matched.More than
9,000 ecfmg certified IMGs did not match and this
number keeps increasing every year, each of them paying
thousands of dollars to US system. They are being
greedier every year.

This is shameful way of making money by eras/ecfmg,
something must be done about it quickly.
