Psych appears to be less demanding in terms of scores and age of graduation, but they do require a lot of psych experience with LORs from US psych physicians which looking at what you wrote you do not have. FP is not easy to get anymore. They like high scorers now and hate old grads.
Some IM community programs are even less competitive than FP programs nowadays.
Your experience in cardiology is not very helpful. You need to do FP so you can get FP LORs. As I said in my book, the International MEdical graduate's Best Hope sold on amazon, may FP programs require at least 2 LORS from FP physicians because that is the testament of commitment to FP and a prouf that you know what you are getting yourself into.
