annual screening for microalbuminuria, usually by obtaining an albumin–creatinine ratio on an early morning urine sample, a random sample, or a timed urine collection, is recommended. Microalbuminuria is defined as a urine albumin (mg/dL)–urine creatinine (mg/dL) ratio of >0.03 (>30 mg albumin/g creatinine) and <0.3 to see if he has early nephropathy for example diabetus,where as protein/creatine is used to meausre frank proteinuria for 24 hours to see if patient is nephrotic
