Is it possible to match a 4th time...yes, but slim chances. You may
need to look at other career options. I know this sounds harsh, but it's
realistic. Why haven't you taken Step 3...if you applied to the match 3
times already? The candidate pool from each year to the next is
increasing. One reason is the large number of foreign graduates along
with US graduates, and the ones from years past who have not
matched. Factor in all those people...and it's a huge number of
competitors. So, you need to decide whether you are willing to sit out
a few years possibly to pursue a career in medicine. You could look
into alternatives....dentistry, P.A. etc., that you can complete in the
years you waste trying to secure a residency. You could be earning $$
and have the peace of mind from not stressing on whether I will ever
match. Some may argue that this is a sign of defeatism/failure....it
isn't... it takes a lot of strength to try a different route. Weigh your
options, and determine how much time you are willing to allocate to
this process. If it isn't working for you, then perhaps it's time to
expend your energy/smarts on something more fulfilling.

Good luck!
