TRY NOT TO BE LATE NEVER EVER,it's better not to come to morning report or non conferance rather than be late!!!
they canot terminate you that easily,they have to talked to you before ,at leat 2 times and documented in your can alwyes ask coordinator to see you file.
every month every program has competency sections and they will talk and discuss about each of the interns and residents. go and read your file and find out where is the source of these problems.
i don't think treaten th program thati will sue you ,will do anything for you,it's not the right way.
if PD send you letter regarding termination ,you can alwyes apeal the letter by going to ACGME departmen.
but this is the last solution.
as Dr.Rock recommend documnet every events in your notebook ,every page you recive,be very nice with nursing staff when they page and answer your page as soon as possible.
when you get 2-3 pages in same time,writting in down to not to forget to call back.
Remember unfortuently residency is slaving ,you should adjust yourself with american culturs.
Did they give you contract for next year? or just for few month?
try to get a very good score in traning exam next year
try to get excellet LOR from each of attending you have rotated.
DO YOUR BEST TO MAKE YOUR PD HAPPY by showing improvement.
and if still feeling this place is not righr place ,I do recommend you try to find another residency.
