Switch from PGY-1 FM to PGY-2 IM

Hi guys I am a PGY-1 FM resident and want to switch over to PGY-2 IM position as I want to do GI fellowship afterwards. If any one is familiar with or has gone through the process, pls help me. I would really appreciate that.
