Several differences.
1. Dr. Iserson is a US grad (ER physician) who wrote the book with primary target being US students. I bought his book as part of the reviews I was doing on IMG books to make sure I was providing new info. There is very little on IMGs in that book. His interview section is very good but not directed to IMGs. In my book, I have addressed specific questions for Imgs and have answered IMG questions based not only on my experience as a foreign grad but also on my experience as IMG-Coach.
2. The ACP publisher does not have the experience of coaching that I have. My interactions on a daily basis with IMGs on forums and with my members make me a unique expert in IMG matters.
There are 4 reviews of my book on amazon from readers and several reports were given on this forum if you want to scroll down.
I am not trying to push you to buy the book. I just want to make sure you understand the contrast between me and other authors.
More importantly, I am available to answer questions that my book did not address on the following e-mail given away on all forums: belibi@img-coach.com
My friend, use your common sense. My book was just recently published and it is now the #1 book sold on amazon with the most reviews.
Don't you think the book has to be better than the other ones in the category of international medical graduate?
