Did you apply to anything before coming here?
I don't know that preliminary progrs will be excited about you. They try to train candidates that go on to do subspecialties that are actually usually very competitive. Prelimn is pretty competitive as very good amg applicants apply because they are the ones who get into dermatology and ophtalmology
