I am a 2002 gradute with step 1- 83 and CS pass with first attemps. I was working as a full time postdoc fellow in a leading university until March 2008 and recently resign toget clinical experience. Already completed one observership and a got a good LOR. Currently doing the second observership (one month)in the same hospital and will get atleat two good LORs. Yesterday I got my CK results and unfortunetely I have failed the exam. Im really upset and confused. Was very positive that I wwas going to pass the exam. But I dont know what to do now. Program director in the hospital that I am doing the observership knows that I took CK. Also my attending knows that I took the exam. So what should I do ? I am planning to apply for the 2009 match and was wondering if I should tell them about my situation or not > or should I just keep qiuet and retake the exam in 2-3 months. But the problem is I will not have my ck scores for my application ..Please let me know what to do ?
