You know what, 99/99 is not new nor is it rare(I'm not downsizing your achievement). So if you get an interview, the only thing that will improve your candidacy is personality and interpersonal skills. Be confident, don't beg, behave as if you have 100 other plans even if you don't match(but don't say that). remember you have to keep yourself calm and confident and think about alternate treatment when your patient is collapsing!
