Hi everybody!
I am an IMG, graduated 2004, credentials 99/99/cs sec attempt/88, observership, applied to 100 cat. IM programs in Sept. 1, received 5 IV calls, 16 rej.,appeared for 3 interviews, all went OK and no prematch offers.
I have a couple of doubts and queries that I would like you all to answer sincerely.
Is it worth applying to some more programs now specially to those from where my friends with similar credentails have got a call from but I somehow did not apply to them?
Is it useful to write emails or call the programs from which my friends have either received a call for interview or got a rejection but I have not heard anything specially in the context that people have started signing prematch contracts and some interview slots are bound to be available?
How can I maximally utilize the IV opportunities I have (2 more) which I think I am extremely fortunate to have considering people here those who do not have even one option?
I would highly appreciate your view on these issues.
