Question about LORs

Hi,

Does LOR from doctors currently practicing in US who have known you ( worked with you) back home work? I don't have any USCE but my colleagues from back home who came to US before me and are practicing in US now are willing to write me LORs. Does this help at all?

please i need your advice.
