Foreign post graduate..

Hallo!I am a post graduate in paediatrics from India,presntly immigrated to Canada.Do I have to go through USMLE exams to be able to practice in U.S.,or is there an alternative route?(what about fellowships).Could you please let me know/forward any links.It would be a great help.
