observership

I am seeking residency in 2008. I am interested in IM but unfortunately cld not get any spot in IM observership. so couple of mths back completed one mth of pedes observership.. just to show in my cv that I have some clinical exposure. Now do u guyes think that my pedes obs exp wld be helpful in getting me IM spot too?Plz aomeone help me.
