you chances are good provided you are willing to go to the places where fmgs are routinely accepted. you need US lors to strengthen your application. being an older grad you need all the help you can get: the fact you are currently working in a clinical setting is a plus. also, i would take step 3 now. finally, an observership in the US is tremendously helpful. obviously you have to be here in the states to get an observership and US lors. gl.
