Again someone interested in spreading the rumor the H-1 for residency will be finished.
First of all, this is just a bill, very unlikely to be approved.
Secondly in the text of the bill, IMG are not mentioned at all, just read the text.
The bill makes a little bit harder for certain companies that have mainly H-1 workers to hire workers under an H-1, but It doesn't say medical residency won't be able to be sponsored with an H-1.
Furthermore the new immigration reform increases the number of H-1 visas....
