Hi everyone. pls i am deeply concerned bcos i matched to a program on probation. While i was told during my interview that they were on probation but the new PD said that they had just being re-evaluated and given a clean bill of health. Only for me to find out that the review committee has this month still decided to continue the probation.
what do u advice gals/guys? do i start planning on transfering out? would my pgy1 year count? does it affect in fellowship opportunities?? do i just hang in there or is a serious risk?? if they loose their accreditation, what happens to the residents??
please can anyone advice me or has anyone been in such a state.
i am very very concerned.
