My inquiry:

I am an International Medical Graduate. I had a question regarding dean's letter submission. Whether we need to submit one to ERAS or no? If yes, original or photocopy?

Is it in lieu of MSPE or should I still mention on pg 12 that I am not going to provide MSPE, even if I am sending dean's letter (if I have to submit one at all)?
Thank you.

Reply from ERAS:

Thank you for contacting ERAS Support Services at ECFMG. If you are submitting a Dean’s Letter it should be an original, and it will be scanned in place of the mspe. You should choose yes on the CAF for providing the MSPE.

My other inquiry:

Thank you for your quick reply. If I want to have my original dean's letter back, can you post it if I provide an stamped self addressed envelop?

2nd reply from them:

Once we finalize our returned documents policy, we anticipate the process beginning after January 2007.You may submit a stamped self addressed envelop for us to return your documents.
