Hi all,
Like I posted before,I got my statement of need letter last year from DC embassy .......and for this year I have sent them my papers again and am waiting for my new S of N letter .So, its possible to get it from here...........

Third thing about documents required.........
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR ISSUE OF NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE:
1.A copy of the Contract with the Hospital/Institute on the standard agreement form with a letter from the Program Director on the official letterhead with seal and contact telephone number.
2.A copy of Bio-data with your address, telephone number and if possible fax number.
3.A copy of your passport showing personal particular and validity of visa and passport.
4.A US stamped self-addressed envelope.
5.Written assurance in the prescribed form
Also, a copy of all your documents with a request letter(for issue of statement of need letter) has to be sent to -

However, statement of need letter will be issued from DC embassy before your copy documents will reach India(that is just a formality).
Also, Plzz try and contact embassy and confirm everything that I mentioned(just to be sure that rules are still the same as last year).
