Hi,
I just wonder how to drape and have the posture properly in order not to run out of time. Following is what I am thinking.
1. Lung problem:
(1)Front of chest: untie gown, lie down, bring the gown down, examin the front of lungs; then listen to heart.
(2)Back of chest: bring the gown up, asking SP to sit up, examin the back of lungs, retie the gown.
2. Heart problem:
(1)Sitting up: untie the gown, bring the gown down, examin the heart.
(2)lie down: asking SP lying down, do same thing as sitting up. End, listen to lungs.
My question is: how can we do if we need examin abdomen as well? Do we need bring gown up, ask SP sitting up, retie gown and ask SP lying down again for examing abdomen? If doing so, we may run of time.
3. Abdominal probelm:
(1)Asking SP dying down, bring gown up and sheet down, do abdominal exam.
(2)Cover SP, asking SP sitting up, untie gown, asking SP lying down, bring gown down, listen to lung and heart.
Welcome any correction and suggestions. Thanks.
