Pt affect if its blunt or not interested , alsolook sad then add depression in your dd and atleast ask how is his mood been, or do you find ur life worth living, then if pt say i have no interest in life then proceed with more question, i guess the best bet would be to to ask atleast one question related to mood if its young female or elderly male or female with chroic pain to be on the safe side
