Depending upon what the case is and how comfortable you are. General physical exam is not as important but would certainly give you an edge. Providing comfort to the patient to me is the most important thing, but please just don't go over board. Dont push through if patient is taking some time to cry or telling you about complain. Second most important thing is PE so do the relevant exam first and then anything else. Everything is important when it comes to history taking but keep in mind if you cant do the whole thing at least do the PAM HUGS FOSS and basic questions relevant to CC. Keep this in mind that you have to have a pattern when asking questions or doing anything that you do during exam, it will save time and you will not forget important stuff. And even if you have to skip something you will know what you did miss and if you have few more seconds then you can cover that. I know its much easier said then done but there is no way around it so please PRACTICE as much as you can.
