I am sorry to hear about your loss but this is a medical condition which you should mention to ECFMG/USMLE so they can make appropriate adjustments to your testing conditions. It may have been the cause of patients getting irritated with you or you losing time when repeating questions so definitely wear your hearing aid but do let authorities know about your condition too.
