Thanks Junster. I completely agree with you that your time is limited and you need a format where you can capture maximum data in minimum time. I personally used this mnemonic based approach as used in usmle source and it really worked. It also worked for many other test takers. One other secret is always start with an open ended question and just ask them to tell you more about their symptoms or pain. The SP's are trained to give a lot of info for open ended questions. As per the ROS, just one screening question is good like any problems with Bowel or bladder? The approach at Usmle Source makes it simple so that even under time pressure, you get it! All the best!
