Of course You will have a chance! The american people are very kind, mostly all of them come from abroad in their roots. They are the most tolerant people I ever did see.
And: The usual language in a specialty office is limited. The words needed You will learn very fast, there is no need for any complicated grammar or so.
Speak in short, clear, simple sentences. There are other things than language that people trust you.
