Also the 4-step approach for closing an encounter - if u practice that well, it will be well memorized and will become an automatic process for u ..
dont get tense..while explaining diagnoses , have a standard dialogue pattern like " Mr. Watson, based on what you told me and your physical exam - there are some diagnostic possibilities that i can think of ..such as Angina ..I mean Chest Pain due to reduced blood supply to the heart, Pericarditis ..I mean an inflammation of the outer covering of the heart . etc. But to pinpoint the exact cause, we need to run a few investigations like blood tests, electrical recording of ur heart i.e. an EKG, chest Xray etc."
If you have gone thru my history taking steps carefully, you will see why knowledge of D/D is important..hence i did those first .
