Position is available to start on 1 Dec 2015, salary is $50,000 per year
with benefits,full time position, hours are flexible.

Summary: Under general supervision, coordinates with various medical
facilities and caretaker institutions to obtain the medical records of NIH
Brain and Tissue Repository (NBTR) donor/potential donor patients. Builds
clinical case history and performs the clinical assessments of the deceased
study subjects. Develops a clinical profile of donors and then resolves with
Director and other staff, as required to develop a final, consensus
psychiatric, neurological and medical diagnosis of NBTR donors. Analyzes and
interprets highly complex clinical research data; may conduct clinical
testing and may participate in developing protocols.
Primary Duties: Obtain, gather, and review medical records in order to
perform formal diagnostic assessment of donors. Conduct interviews of family
members for medical, neurological and psychiatric history of donor. Builds
clinical case history according to established protocols and established
assessment instruments. Develops final clinical profile of donors and then
resolves with Director and other staff, as required to develop a final,
consensus psychiatric/neurological diagnosis of donors. Analyzes and
interprets complex clinical research data; may participate in the clinical
assessments of the study subjects including, but not limited to, screening,
evaluation and testing of the subjects. The Senior Clinical Research
Coordinator will conduct data collection, processing, storage, inventory and
quality control for clinical research studies. May obtain informed consent
under general supervision of the Investigator(s) and educate participants
regarding study requirements Performs other related duties.
Education: Minimum: N/A Preferred: N/A Actual: Bachelor's degree in
sciences or related field. MD preferred.
Previous Experience: MD, MD/PhD, Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatric Nurse,
Psychiatric or Forensic Investigator, Psychiatric or Forensic Physician’s
assistant. 5 years of clinical research Excellent written and oral
communication skills Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Ability to
manage multiple tasks & priorities Demonstrated leadership potential
Physical Requirements: Light physical work often necessary as lifting
volumes of records or case files may come into play
