I am in the Department of Psychopharmacology Research
at Manhattan Psychiatric Center, Wards Island, NY. We
are affiliated with the New York University School of
Medicine. We have medication as well non medication
clinical research projects. This is a volunteer non-
paid position. In the past we have given paid
positions after that period, but it depends on
availability of funding and your visa status. More
importantly, however, so far our volunteers have had
good results with finding residency positions. In order
to get some benefit out of this experience a minimum of
a 6 month commitment is needed. You will be trained to
perform the duties of a clinical research coordinator.
You will have ample of clinical exposure as part of
your training. You will also have the chance to work on
manuscripts for publications and be a co-author. If you
are interested email me your resume. Please include
your Step 1, 2 and 3 scores, your current visa status
and your contact phone number.
Take care and good luck
